Principality Celebrates!

39th Anniversary of Secession

Sunday, 26th April 2009 saw HRH spend a number of hours chatting with and getting to know the Principality's Special Envoy to Bangladesh, Mr Asif Chowdhury, a little better.
The meeting commenced with the exchanging of gifts as is customary followed by discussions on a number of matters. At the end of the session, Mr Chowdhury was presented with a letter of introduction to the Hon President of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh and included a couple of gifts for him as well as a Certificate of his "Spirit Code", one of which was also presented to Mr Chowdhury, in fact these are the very first of such certificates to be issued.
HRH Prince Leonard was impressed with the meeting, impressed enough to award Mr Chowdhury with the Honour of appointing him an Officer of the Illustrious Order of Merit prior to the meeting ending.

Above we see Mr Chowdhury being handed a Dual Celebration Coin to also present to the Hon President on his return home to Bangladesh.

Mr Chowdhury also receives a Certificate of the "Spirit Code" within him.
