The Principality has lost a true supporter and friend in Sir Kyle Nimmo.

Sir Kyle and his family have a long history with the Principality of Hutt River and a close relationship with the Royal Family of Hutt going back almost a quarter of a century, with Sir Kyle and his wife Lady Karen the first ever couple to be married in the Chapel of Nain and photo's of their marriage ceremony are on permanent display in the Chapel.

Sir Kyle, an avid surfer, guitarist, an accomplished musician and music teacher would often be called upon or would volunteer of himself, to provide entertainment for special events in the Principality, such as anniversary celebrations and celebratory dinners etc; and in more recent years he provided the musical accompaniment to his wife's lovely voice on many an occasion in Nain.

Sir Kyle took a very active interest in the mathematics in the field known as Gematrya, as studied in the Royal College of Advanced Research. He advanced his interest and knowledge to the level where he became one of the earliest authors of the RCAR, and eventually joined the College faculty, firstly managing the Gematrya published library of the RCAR and Sir Kyle was responsible for publishing the first Gematrya CDROMs to be produced by the College. He was eventually appointed to the position of Dean of RCAR, a position from which he only recently retired.

Sir Kyle passed away peacefully at St John of God Hospital Geraldton on Wednesday February 12, surrounded by his family.
His passing is a great loss to the Principality and the Royal Family where his support and friendship has been most appreciated.

My thoughts & those of all of us in the Principality go out to Lady Karen and his family at this time.

Thankyou Kyle!
