Food Bank - 3 times the troop ran the Tisdale Food Bank Distribution Centre.
 

On 9 occasions during the quarter we helped sort items delivered to the Salvation Army Store in the town of Tisdale, proceeds as usual for local charities.
          

On 9 occasions during the quarter troop members collected food contributions from local stores for the Food Bank for distribution.
           

Medical car - 3 times local residents were transported for medical appointments to and from the cities of Nipawin and Saskatoon.
           

On 1 occasion catering duties were carried out at Ridgedale Pot Luck Suppers.
 

Community in Bloom - One of our members on 13 occasions during the summer assisted with clerical duties at this annual event.
 

Local Special Olympics Committee - on 2 occasions we assisted in a "bottle drive" to raise money for this committee.
 

22 volunteer duties were carried out at a local nursing home.
 

During the quarter 1 duty carried out checking vacant property. Assisted with grass cutting at local cemetery on 1 occasion.
4 duties carried out cutting 5 trees down into 11x8ft lengths and loaded onto vehicle which transported them to a local museum. They are to be used to demonstrate the craft of making wooden roof shingles.
 

Annual Troop Shoot. - Held on Sunday August 25th on a beautiful day, one of the best days this year as far as the weather went.  Competition results were:
1^st PLACE -- Senior Sergeant A. Hanson
2^nd PLACE  --  Senior Superintendent A. Hilliar
3^rd PLACE  --  DCC. Dame S. Metcalfe.

The event concluded with a bar-b-que.
