In addition to its ceremonial and humanitarian responsibilities, the Royal Hutt River Defence Forces are involved in educational activities around the world. In 2005, the Royal Hutt River School of Artillery was formed as part of the Royal Hutt River Army Artillery, to instruct in the correct drill and deployment of ceremonial artillery. In 2007, the Royal Hutt River Military College was formed to increase the range of educational activities related to other ceremonial activities to the existing courses offered related to ceremonial artillery. The Royal Hutt River School of Artillery then became the Artillery School of the Royal Hutt River Military College and includes the School of the Piece and School of the Battery. In 2012, the names of the first two schools under the Royal Hutt River Military College were changed and the role of the RHRMC was changed along with them. The new names of the first two schools under the RHRMC are: the Royal Hutt River Military College School of Artillery (RHRMC-SOA), and the Royal Hutt River Military College School of Infantry (RHRMC-SOI). Additional schools will be added in the future as the RHRMC evolves to take on additional educational responsibilities, in order to provide a single governing body for all training and training materials produced for all Arms of the Royal Hutt River Defence Forces. Read the Overview Document by the Commander of the Royal Hutt River Military College.
